Display name: If you submit your score to the leaderboard, you provide a display name. It is publicly visible on the leaderboard.
Scores and game results: Stored when you opt in to the leaderboard.

B. Data collected automatically

Usage data: Pages visited, game interactions, and error events.
Device & browser data: Browser type, OS, screen resolution, language.
IP address: Collected by hosting and Google's services. We do not store raw IP addresses ourselves.
Cookies / local storage: Theme preference, game settings, streak, and score history stored locally on your device.

ℹ️We do not collect names, emails, or phone numbers unless you voluntarily provide a display name for the leaderboard.

Analytics

Leaderboard: Your voluntarily submitted display name and score are publicly visible.

Business transfers: If Vicharashala is involved in a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred with prior notice.

Data Retention

Leaderboard entries (name + score): Retained up to 90 days on a rolling basis.
Local storage (preferences, streak): Stored on your device until you clear browser data.
Analytics data: Governed by Google Analytics defaults (26 months).

You may delete browser local storage at any time via your browser settings, which resets all local game data.

Your Rights

All users: Access, deletion, correction of personal data; opt-out of personalised advertising.

EEA / UK residents (GDPR): Right to restrict processing, data portability, and to object. Legal bases: legitimate interests (analytics, fraud prevention), consent (ad cookies), contract performance (leaderboard).

California residents (CCPA): Right to know what data is collected, used, or shared. Right to opt out of "sale" of personal information — we do not sell personal data. Right to non-discrimination for exercising rights.

Children's Privacy

Clausle is suitable for all ages but is not directed specifically at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it promptly.
